We have made the following changes to our policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of our staff and guests.
Each team member will receive a temperature check every day at the beginning of their shift. If one of our team members is running a fever (above 100°F), then they are sent home and will not be able to return to work until they have been fever-free for three days.
Gloves and masks are provided to each and every Uptown Grocery team member. All team members are required to wear masks, per CDC recommendation. We are thankful for a partnership with a few local seamstresses that were able to bridge the gap in supplies!
We have added "social distancing" signage on the floor, as well as continued audio reminders that encourage the adequate distance between customers during check-out
Out of an abundance of caution, team members will perform an additional cleaning and disinfection every hour, on top of our current enhanced sanitation measures
Plexiglass sneeze guards have been added to every register to provide a barrier between the team member and the guest for added protection
Cart wipes are readily available for all guests at the entrance of each location. We encourage each guest to utilize this before each use
All sales are final until further notice. Please keep this in mind when purchasing. We remind you to shop only for your weekly needs so that product is available for everyone.

Limits have been placed on items such as hand sanitizer, toilet paper, disinfectant wipes, dry goods like beans and rice, bottled water and more. We are monitoring and making adjustments to limits as needed. We respectfully ask all guests to consider their immediate needs and purchase accordingly!
